Pallet Of x6 30m² Rolls
DURABASE CI++ Decoupling mat for laying tiles (including thin porcelain, minimum 5.5mm thickness), slabs and natural stone coverings on critical substrates.
DURABASE CI++ effectively decouples the tiles or stone from new critical substrates which are prone to movement, shrinkage and expansion, as well as bridging cracks or damaged but load-bearing coverings – making DURABASE CI++ ideal for renovation works also.
With fresh screeds, the average waiting time (drying time) is 5-12 weeks before tiles can be laid. With the 3-layer structure of DURABASE CI++ and vapour-pressure channels, tiles can be laid the very next day, i.e. as soon as the floor can be walked on.
Material Properties:
DURABASE CI++ matting is designed for reduced roll-back using a yellow polyethene body with a mesh fabric and a backing fleece which is made of polypropylene. Thanks to this material composition, the mats are resistant to many different chemicals (e.g., salts, acids and alkali) at low concentrations.
Notice: The unique light-weight fleece backing of DURABASE CI++ provides unbeatable bond strength due to its enhanced ability to mechanically lock into adhesives.
Notice: It is recommended to use a 4mm x 4mm notched Trowel to fix DURABASE CI++ matting to the substrate. 6mm x 6mm may be used for very uneven surfaces.
