The most common type of underfloor heating thermostat. Quite simply the bread and butter of underfloor heating control. Programmable thermostats automatically adjust the temperature of the room to your ideal comfort level, when you want it to. You can create a heating schedule to fit your lifestyle. Do you want warm floors at 6 pm when you arrive home? No problem.
The Programmable Thermostat provides all the energy-efficient features which are easily set up on the thermostat directly. This makes efficient heating control a breeze.
Just like many thermostats in the range, the Programmable Thermostat is compatible with all popular electric underfloor heating systems. Use a multimeter set to 20KΩ to test the resistance of the sensor probe. If the probe reads between 8 to 12KΩ then it will work.
If the thermostat senses a drop in temperature due to an open window or door, it will turn off the heating for 15 minutes and then turn it on again. This reduces energy waste, heat loss and helps you save on your heating bills.
